Water park, Polish style

This is R again!

We are adding pictures to the older posts, but we didn't take any pictures this day, so this will just be words. On Tuesday we went to a big indoor water park that was really really cool. From the minute we walked in we could see many things that we really wanted to do. I instantly grabbed S and dragged her over to a rock climbing wall that was in one of the pools. Then we noticed that there was a volleyball court and some balls around, so I went to ask Mama to play since she used to play. She, S, and I had a really fun game complete with Mama bumping the ball out of the volleyball pool, over the walkway, and into the kiddie area. While I went to retrieve the ball, S and Mama were worrying about the possibility of the ball landing on some poor kid's head. Luckily, no kids were hurt.

The kiddie area was shallow with tons of little slides and a pirate ship. The littles were adorable and they loved it. L got caught in an endless slide loop, but never forgetting to keep a strong hold on "my ball!!" It was a ball that she had found on the ground and instantly claimed. T loved the pirate ship, I think mostly because it had two water guns attached which he could use to squirt anyone and everyone in range.

The water park was riddled with slides. I love water slides, so I was happy. There were three ten and up slides, three twelve and up, and two thirteen and up. The ten and ups were what S and Mama liked. They were fun slides, but not too fast and you kept control through the whole thing. The twelve and ups consisted of two fast slides where you can't control yourself at all, and the "toilet." You slide down a steep beginning and then end up swirling around a big bowl where you have to aim for a tiny hole on the edge to get out. If you don't make it around to the hole you end up just having to walk over and jump down. The thirteen and ups were my personal favorites, They both started relatively slow and then picked up speed. One then going to a steep drop and spitting you out at the end, and the other sloshing you up the side of the slide so that you get blinded by the water and then sending you down the steep slope when you can't see it coming.

There was a lazy river that we went in with the littles and they seemed to like it. T kept getting away from us and cackling like crazy. L still wouldn't let go of her ball. There were also Jacuzzis scattered across the whole park. Mama thought the pool water was very cold compared to other pools, so she decided she'd try to stay in the jacuzzis, but in the end that just made the other pool water feel colder.

We stayed at the park for several hours, and when it was time to go L still wouldn't let go of her ball. She was sad when she finally left it, but she brightened up when she saw the showers. We had a fun day. When we finally got home everyone was exhausted and so we ate a homemade dinner and went straight to bed.

We don't know if we saw any nuns today because everyone was in their bathing suits. So we'll keep the count at 0 for today.
