Really really awesome bike tour

This is S writing again!

The first thing we did on Wednesday was go up to the castle. We saw suits of armor, including a tiny one that looked like T could fit into. We went in the cathedral and saw some nice stained glass. One of the stained glass windows was made by an artist named Mucha. We recognized that it was by him right away because earlier in the week we went to an art museum that was completely his art. One of the pictures there was of a woman in a dead tree and a schoolgirl looking accusingly at her audience. It was very creepy. The description said the girl was accusing people of not buying her school supplies. On the stained glass window it looked like the same girl looking accusingly at the audience again. He has a signature way of drawing little girls. We also saw a smaller church there that was older.

The cathedral had lots of side chapels in different styles

After the castle and some lunch we went on an ebikes tour with a place called I like ebikes. Ebikes are bikes that use an electric motor to help you. It's really fun. First we went up to a park that had a playground, a fake Eiffel tower, a rose garden, and a view over the American Embassy. R loved the rose garden, of course! And L insisted on hopping out of the bike because she wanted to look at "my pink" flowers. That's also how she describes what flavor she wants when we get ice cream. We saw a really huge stadium. It was split into different sections, but our guide said it used to be one big stadium that could hold 250,000 people.

We went down a lot of cobble stone streets to the castle. It was a different entrance than the one we went through earlier so we got a different view. We saw the American Embassy's huge bbq pavillion. After that we saw where Madeline Albright used to live. That was pretty interesting. Then we went to another park. The littles had lots of fun in the playground.

We crossed a very busy bridge so that we could ride along the river. The ride along the river was very pretty. There was a good view and it was an easy ride. On the way back to the ebike headquarters we saw a small bridge that had a lot of locks on it. The locks were supposed to be memories that would be there forever, but sometimes they have to cut the locks away because there are too many. We saw a John Lennon memorial wall that was full of graffitti. You were supposed to write something about love on that wall.

After the bike tour we walked across the Charles Bridge, had dinner at a fish and chips place while watching the World Cup, and then we had ice cream.

Our bike guide, Barbara, said lots of people ask her about the manhole covers.
