This is S writing! On Saturday we went to a little playground and a beautiful castle with a lot of weddings.
While Daddy bought train tickets, the littles, R, and I enjoyed a cute little playground down the street from our apartment with Mama.
This is Fisherman's Bastion in the Castle district. It's a really big wall that goes around and you can get lots of really good views from there, which is probably why people like having their weddings and doing their wedding pictures there. I believe we saw on that day five.
There was a really cool modern hotel right next to the old buildings. Mama thought it was interesting that they had the modern and old. You can see R and me walking down the street towards the National Archives.
Beautiful view over the river to the Parliament building
conversation just had between S and Mama while dictating:
s: the Parliament building is really cool.
m: do you know, Parliament is the government?
s: it's still really cool.
R and me waiting for the boat
Here's the boat we took
Just another view.
We were up on the top deck of the ferry and it was very windy and nice. Mama says the best part is the fact that we went under the bridge instead of over it. She does not like bridges. I liked going under the bridge, too.
We went into a chocolate and cakes place and Daddy went back to get cakes later. We didn't get them then because we were going to the ice cream place.
Here are beautiful rose shaped ice cream cones. The pink ice creams look really nice because they actually look like roses. I got a banana peach cone because I really like the banana and wanted to try the peach. L always gets pink sorbets because pink is her favorite color and the sorbet doesn't melt as fast as ice cream.
On the way back every restaurant and cafe in the park was playing the World Cup between Brazil and Chile. Brazil made a great goal, so everyone in all those cafes and restaurants started to scream simultaneously. They could probably be heard for miles and it startled us because we weren't watching. We walked for three blocks and could hear the World Cup clearly the whole time. It was in Hungarian, so we couldn't understand, but it was still pretty cool.
