More practice

E and I had a horrible time last night trying to add a facebook link.  He can do it, but only in a complicated way I can't understand so I'd never be able to extricate the code  It looks like I need more practice.  So today's job is practicing images and a jump break.  To make it more fun (for me, at least) I'm going to do a top ten wish list of things I'd like to see or do in Switzerland.

jump break!
Alright!

If you're reading this, it worked.  So here they are, in no particular order:

1. Schonbielhutte - There is a hut in this picture, and I want to stay there overnight! The hike has great views of the Matterhorn, and I am hoping the site has dark skies.  The kids have never seen more than a couple dozen stars at a time.

bonus! - I found this picture on an awesome, inspiring site.  This blog has the features I dream of!

Did I just learn how to link?  I hope so!

2. Paragliding - I don't want to be on the Today Show when I am 100 years old because I decided to paraglide for the first time.  Best do it now.

3. Skiing - Of course.  There were beautiful pictures to choose from but this is more my speed.  I should have written "ski lessons."

4. Christmas markets - This is Basel, but I will definitely see Zurich's, since it is in the train station.

5. Bern onion market - I want to go to things like the onion market, the carrot market, and the turnip festival.  We will be so lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

bonus! click to see the onion squirrels, too!

6. Thermal baths - I'd be very happy at any thermal bath, but Therme Vals is really unusual.

7. Hiking! - This list is definitely not in order.  E took this hike at Fronalpstock and swears it isn't quite as terrifying as it looks.  I hope we can manage it wearing baby packs.

8. St Beatus caves - E is crazy for caves, S loves dragons, everyone likes waterfalls, there is a playground, and the place looks like something out of a fantasy novel.  No brainer!

9. Silvester - I'd like to visit all the cantons, and this seems to be the biggest thing going in Appenzell Ausserrhoden.  It beats New Year's Eve in Times Square!

10.  Ride gondolas, lifts, funiculars, boats, trains, trotti bikes, sledges, ziplines, etc. - T is our vehicle boy, and he is going to love this.

It is from http://www.bugbog.com/gallery/switzerland_pictures/lucern-luzern-pictures/4-mount-pilatus-lucerne.html which beautifully explains the golden round trip.  I can't wait to bring my Dad!
